Player Registration Cards
All players are required to have valid Cal South Registration Cards. Players are not permitted to participate without this card. The cards must be laminated in such a way that they can not be altered. It is helpful to have the cards on a ring with the coaches and administrator(s) up front, followed by the players in alphabetical order.
Teams without these valid Registration Cards at game time will automatically forfeit the game.
Roster Game Reports (Game Sheets)
All names and Jersey numbers (both home and away) should be entered into the Cal South Coris System, so that they are automatically printed onto the Roster Game Reports. If you are unsure of how to do this, contact your club's Registrar for assistance. You should not be writing your team's roster information week after week. The system will allow you to print the Roster Game Reports no earlier than on the Thursday prior to the game.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any players or coaches who are currently under suspension for receiving a Red Card are required to have their name(s) lined out of the Roster Game Report and not participate in any way. Suspended coaches are not allowed anywhere near the field when on suspension. LINING OUT THE PLAYERS OR COACHES NAME IS THE ONLY WAY DIVISION DIRECTORS ARE ABLE TO CONFIRM THAT A SUSPENSION HAS BEEN SERVED. WITHOUT THIS CONFIRMATION SUSPENSIONS ARE SUBJECT TO INCREASE.
After the game, either the team administrator (manager) or the coach must review and initial the game report, confirming all (referee and both teams) are in agreement with the score, rosters and infractions. IMPORTANT: Verify all Red Cards and Yellow Cards are listed accurately with the correct reason(s) listed.
Log onto the Presidio database no later than 48 hours after the game, preferably by Sunday evening for weekend games and update the game information into the scoring system. If you do not know how to log into the system, contact your club registrar for assistance. Input the score AND all Red Card and Yellow Card infractions accurately into the system. See the Program Instruction Box above for help on this and other processes.
Mail your Game Roster Reports to the Circuit Director's address as listed on the right side of the form. Forms should be mailed no later than Monday.
Game Reschedules
Game Reschedules are allowed when both teams agree to reschedule. There is a $50 rescheduling fee.
Presidio Soccer League will not force teams to reschedule games, except for U15 and older teams when games have been scheduled prior to 2:00 pm on an ACT/SAT testing date. See the Program Information Box for instructions.
Games on PSAT/SAT/ACT days should not be scheduled BEFORE 2:00 pm.
For issues regarding game reschedules, please contact the appropriate Assistant Circuit Director as listed below:
For reschedule procedures please review the following points and consult the Team Administrators Guide.
Reschedule Procedure:
- Log on with your user name and password.
- Put credit card info in to initiate reschedule. (After Aug 8th)
- Give your opponent a few dates that are available.
- Once you have both agreed on date, you must accept the reschedule online.
- Date needs to be agreed on 7 days prior to date of play.
-
If a date cannot be agreed upon then contact Asst Director of your circuit and they will help in making
the decision.
Infractions: Red Cards and Yellow Cards
Players or coaches receiving a Red Card or two Yellow Cards in one game are automatically suspended for a minimum of one game. Division Directors have the authority to increase the suspension time if they feel the infraction warrants such action.
Coaches receiving Red Card Infractions are required NOT TO COACH ANY OTHER TEAM(S) UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THEIR SUSPENSION HAS BEEN FULLY SERVED FOR THE TEAM THEY RECEIVED THE INFRACTION FOR.
Only a player or substitute player may be shown a Red Card. Coaches will NOT be shown a Red Card or Yellow Card. They will be sent off, which is considered a Red Card.
Infraction Point System
The point system for infractions has been modified this year. For more information regarding the point system, click here.
Referees (Officials)
Referees enter into direct agreements with each of the individual clubs. As such, Presidio Soccer League does not interfere with these relationships, unless rules or regulations are not followed. Presidio Soccer League has no authoritative role with the referee associations.
The only games Presidio Soccer League directly enters into agreements with the Referee Associations is for:
- Presidio Cup, and
- Premier Qualifying Cup
For questions regarding referees, please contact your club's Board of Directors.
Center Officials must be certified for the current playing year and must have the current year ID Badge, which is normally worn on the shirt.
